Tom: “I have officially started the Blink album this week”

Blink has officially started working on the record according to Tom’s blog on Modlife:

I have officially started the Blink album this week…lots of fun!

I might be putting up some meet and greets (VIP) slots for the Blink tour in Europe….so stay tuned

    Yeah, the “I” is kinda worrisome, but it was on Modlife, his own site, so I’m gonna role with it.

    Rick… “I” = More or less he’s letting his Angels and Airwaves followers know he’s working on what they might consider to be a side project, though in this case a rather large one.

    Can’t speak for everyone but to me Angels and airwaves is like a never ending side project. To Angels and airwaves fans, that band is to them, what blink is to me, and now Blink is a side project to them.

    Even though it’s old news, I listened to Love maybe twice then never again. Says a lot considering i’ve listened to every Blink album way more than I could possibly count, even the Plus 44 album.

    The fact Tom has a Blink update is good news though, can’t wait.

    By “I”, I believe Tom means he’s working on guitar riffs, maybe some lyrics, you know.. stuff he can do by himself.

    haha stop over analysing because he said “I” its on the AvA website, meaning he is speaking in regards to himself, just as i would turn around to my mom and say “oh i am going to play football” instead of “oh we are going to play football” even tho im with others.

    When you become a “big” band. Writing albums does not so much come as a whole in some parts. When Tom means “I”, thats what he means. He is coming up with his own ideas, or possibly branching off from stuff Mark and Travis have. Writing doesn’t really mean they are all sitting down making the album, it means they are all adding/writing songs on there on and soon they combine them to form songs.
