I agree with Henry. Tom's voice is actually very similar to how it was at the end of blink. Tom just sounds different in the studio... but I think that's by choice.

Well of course he's not. But his fixed up/studio voice is very cool sounding.

yeah there IS much better singers out there, but it voice does sound cool - so I like it.
I was never one that cared about his voice "changing"
I mean it sounds different than Enema of the State or TOYPAJ, but still. whatever.

this is it. i think he could sing fairly similar, almost exactly the same as he did in untitled. but he would have to try, he would have to actually put effort into it. i think the way he sings now is just what comes natural, so he sticks to it. when he sings, that comes out, he could sing like untitled but it'd be put on

this album is a solid listen. doesnt have an abundance of staying power. all it really does is make me want the new blink album even more

Here are my two cents on the album:

This is by far my favourite Angels and Airwaves record. From the first listen, all of the songs seem unique to me and I like the fact that Tom has shifted to more of a 'pop' sound while still retaining the AVA space-sound.

I have never been a HUGE fan of the band but i'm becoming more of one with each album release. The main problem I have with the entire band and their songs is that Tom is hanging onto this topic of love and connectedness for too long, and lyrically the songs suffer because of this. I'll admit, I love the sound of the music but the lyrics are very predictable because it's the same message Tom has been preaching for 5 odd years.

This album is getting me even more excited for new blink-182 material though!
