Angels and Airwaves played a private acoustic show Thursday March 26th for winners of an AT&T contest. Rock Da Mullet documented the day on his blog:

Out of respect to Macbeth, Angels and Airwaves and Tom Delonge,
I did not record any video of Tom and Angels and Airwaves performing, as per their request.

Wahoo’s was a special request to come out and feed 50 special winners chosen from a contest presented by ATT. Winners were bussed in to the Macbeth corporate offices where Tom Delonge’s private studio is located as well. There was alot of presentation, giveaways, families, and of course delicous eats by Wahoo’s! The band played an accoustic set after Tom talked personally with all his guests. It was a very cool vibe! 2 thumbs up!

For 2009 Maley Motorsports supports four-time, reigning WORC’s Women’s Champion, Maria Forsberg in a number of this season’s WMA Championship races. Forsberg represented the U.S.A at the 2008 International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) in Serres, Greece, and claimed a gold medal and 2nd overall while on the Women’s World Cup Team. She is the only woman to compete at the Red Bull Last Man Standing and the only woman to compete in and finish the Mexican Fun Enduro.

Tom Delonge of Blink 182 fame is the brains and brawn behind the mysterious Macbeth brand. With a steez for simple looking sneakers that are a big hit in emo-rock circles, Delonge has built the brand with the help of a network of musician friends (Tegan and Sarah anyone?) and family that have created some unlikely shoe collaborations. From strumming strings to lacing laces, Delonge has also used his vegan principles to guide the direction of the product. It’s taken a minute to track him down but finally here it is… Mr Macbeth himself!
