That was a good, honest interview. The begining was pretty funny.

  • Pete

Thanks, Mark, for being straight up.

  • matt

Recording for “rest of the year”. So, since there’s no chance of recording an album in about 4 months, especially after all the time off, I expect them to “take some time off” at the end of the year, and the album probably won’t come out until almost 2012.

  • tim

good interview. melody’s in their music is what makes blink 182 awesome for me, and the combination of mark & tom’s voices compliment each other greatly.

  • Magnious

This is why I like Mark so much, honest and to the point.

  • celeste

i agree with tim’s comment and I CANT WAIT TILL IT COMES OUT!!! :D

  • pavel

always talking about blink ! the real blink 182 defender! long live the hoppus

  • Bob

In the last 10 years I have watched/heard 1000′s of hours of blink doing anything, and I still get so pumped anytime something like this pops up! Mark you’re awesome, interviews like these make me forget about all the stupid AVA stuff just for a few minutes, and that makes me happy!

  • Taylor

You’ve got to feel bad for Mark, how he only ever gets credited as the bassist, and not one of the vocalists and songwriters.

  • waggy182

@Taylor what do you mean? mark and tom are always credited for co songwriters and co vocalists….wtf????

  • chad

@taylor i agree with you partly in the fact that while he does get undercredited sometimes, there are many instances where they say cofrontman of blink 182. it just all depends on the interview

  • Taylor

@waggy182 and @chad Yeah, maybe I misspoke a bit there… I’ve just noticed that sometimes he’s only credited as the bassist, or the bassist and backup vocalist. But yeah, you’re right, he’s probably credited as co-songwriter and co-vocalist more often. My bad.

I think all the male blink fans secretly love or admire AVA “SECRETLY”
