Take this with a grain of salt, but I found this labeled as one of the tracks from the “deluxe” edition that has more music used to score the movie. Don’t know if it’s legit but it seems to fit the vibe pretty well.

It’s a decent album. Doesn’t beat we dont need to whisper for me tho. One thing I don’t like is alot of the songs sound alike. There were parts of these new songs where i could sing parts of old songs in it and it fit the sound perfectly

i was never a big fan of AVA. but its not bad, especially for free. Well, i donated 2 bucks…the remix is of Hallucinations…its pretty bad.

The remix is very regretful. It sounds like a 8-bit mega man boss battle with Tom’s voice on top.

Great album. The remix is okay, but the original track is better. Sounds like Mark had a Motion City influence on it or something. Either way, VERY good album and well worth the donation.

hhhhmmmm the album is ok, but he used too many ideas from box car, Letters to God part 2, had potential and letters to God on the Box car album was epic, so TD has alot to live up to, but I dont think he fulfilled his potential, on top of htat track 2, he keeps using like a cat theif, reminds me of cat like theifs on the box car album…hhmmmm, not too impressed at the moment

Just take a look at the Angels and Airwaves facebook page, its sooo close to their fans, by uploading photos and everyday stuff…But at the B182 facebook page the things is more “formal”…they only post concert dates and that stuff…i DONT feel ‘em anymore…FUCK guys, what’s the matter with you??

Cmon the album is very average. Im not saying terrible but it is the same ava recipe, long intros and long verses. I am not a hater it just seems like no matter what ava fans were gonna say “epic” even if it isn’t. I am a ava fan but this album is not epic nor is it any better than the last two. How could it be it sounds exactly the same can someone who loves it please explain to me why this is sooo much better than the last album and why it is epic?

The album isn’t supposed to sound that outstanding musically, I mean, of course them using the modular analogs to create the sound effects are very complex and stuff, but this albums main purpose is to tell a story about the human race in a nutshell. Like someone said on here they thought it was one giant song… thats what it is pretty much, its the storyline of the movie, and with the 30 extra minutes of music being released eventually, the small segues at the end of Young London, Shove, and The Moon Atomic will be short in comparison to the obviously longer ones that go with the rest of the movie. As Tom stated in an interview one time, they aren’t even really focusing on the music this time around, they want to be known as a band that is known for making movies as much as they are known for making music. Listen to those segues again and tell me it wouldn’t look amazing to have a stranded astronaut in a spaceship while that music is playing? this movie is going to be wicked.

Flight of Apollo and Yound London, two of the best ava songs ever. But the rest of the album is quite lame. Kida what I expected. Hope for an awesome blink record instead!

I commend Tom for releasing it for free. As I like AVA and +44, I LOVE BLINK. Regardless to whether or not you think it is an epic album or average – it took a lot of really hard work. So I will donate at least something to show my appreciation to Tom and the guys for working hard to put something out for people to enjoy.

the album isn’t awful….but truthfully it’s not far off. i sounds like another copy of i-empire. at least there was something bolder about we don’t need to whisper. it’s not the worst rexord i’ve ever heard, but it’s a million miles away from being called ‘epic’.

That was not epic, it was the same as the last album, which was the same as the first album. I agree with Tony. Tom needs to stop being so pretentious and realize what he’s good at – Making catchy pop punk songs, not stadium rock. Or at least focus on blink, and then use the blink money and fame to screw around with AVA. If I recall correctly, neiher of the first two AVA albums even reached platinum. That’s pretty sad.

Tom only got back with blink to fund the new FREE album and movie he paid for HIMSELF. To me this just makes sense. The money he would have earned from a 50+ date tour.

LOVE is pretty good 6.5/10 in my opinion but it really seems like Blink is gonna take the back seat for much of this year especially when it comes to actually recording a new album!

First time i listened the album i thought it was weird and a bit repetitive sometimes… but now I love it… I thought the same after listen to the last blink album, and now I love the untitled album… some albums need some time to understand and apreciatte the songs

Not very impressive. All the songs sound the same.Such stupidlty long intro’s and for what reason. They are so annoying. Why can’t Tom see that Blink 182 should be his #1 priority, If it wasn’t for Blink most of you people wouldn’t even know who AVA is. Blink is 100 times better than AVA. I don’t mind some of AVA’s stuff, but this record isn’t so good. Compared to Blink they aren’t even close. Come on guys concentrate on Blink if you want to be on the world stage with the other top performers out there.

Also, I think the reason the melodies are so obviously reused is that Tom’s writing has always been more melody focused and he may not be the most original songwriter, but working with Mark and Travis allows the music to sound varied even when the progressions are familiar

In my pointo of view I think that the second song “TfOA” is the best song in the whole album because the song has a little blink riff in the verse
however, i think this album is good in my opinion

WDNTW – 70 except it hurts and the adventure pretty much the 60% of the whole album 40% the rest of the songs

I have to be honest… it is quite possibly the most cringe worthy album i have heard the only reedeeming quality or qualities are the guitar riffs but seriously every song sounds the same… poor effort from a band that are better than this

Wow, Hugo. Did you really compare this album to blink’s self titled album? REALLY!? How could you get sick of blink’s self titled? Each song sounded different than the last. Unlike this album. Congratulations, sir. Your comparison fails.

I give huge props to Tom for releasing this for free. It’s hard to complain about free. But as an AvA fan, it’s hard not to be let down. The first couple of songs sound pretty good. Then it just slides back to the same formula we’ve been hearing for years. It’s old. It’s nothing new. It’s predictable. Anyone who says this is epic needs to seriously take a step back and realize what you’re saying. These are four very talented individuals. It’s just a shame that they’ve put out a less than stellar album.

I’m sorry but this album kinda dissapointed me. I’m glad it was free because I wouldn’t have paid for it anyway. I empire on the other hand was absolutely great. So my expectations were high I guess. And I agree Blink should be his #1 priority. I was at the pelham, Al reunion show and it was Epic. I want more of that please.

@ kimbob yeah i know i think the songs all kind of sound similar but I still love AvA and I kinda wish there were a little bit less love songs and more songs like Right of Spring. However I am highly enjoying Young London!!!!!!!!!

Oh and @ Aaron Ummm Im pretty sure people would know who AvA is regardless of Blink. Box Car Racer had a plethora of fans and they were not as advertised and stuff like AvA. Some of us are true fans.

Does it bug anyone else that Tom keeps saying that the members of blink are so different. Maybe now him and Mark have different music taste but in there are countless times in the past when him and Mark talk about how much alike they are and how the first time they met they became best friends pretty quick after that. It is just funny to me he keeps saying that is the magic of blink when in fact from 1995-2004 the magic was how similiar they were. Oh and Love isn’t nearly as good as the blink self title ablum

@ cassie. You’re only kidding yourself. If this was the only band that Tom Delonge had ever played in, it wouldn’t be as big as it is now, and even then, its not all that big. Boxcar also got alot of fans because of blink… Mind you, boxcar probably could’ve made it on their own without the blink background. AvA probably couldn’t

the Hoppus remix was terrible, I lost a bit of respect for Mark, because even though Tom has released I empire and Love, both in my opinion as terrible albums, Hoppus has been doing good work with producing and the plus 44 record. So after hearing the remix, it was rather disappointing, on top of that, it sounds like he slapped it together in 10 minutes.

To comment on someones point above about box car having more fans etc, that becuase they were actually really good, had more direction/vision in their songs. While ava…. not so much

I think he ruined letters to God part 2, and track 2 also reminds me of cat like theif by box car, which was a better album/band. Tom needs Mark and Travis to bring a better balance to the music

Gotta say, I thought LOVE kinda sucked the first time or two that I listened to it, but WOW!!! I have probably listened to that album 30 or 40 times all the way through since it came out. If you give it a chance and actually listen to it, all the songs really don’t sound the same. This is an AMAZING album. It really is. Just give it a chance. I mean, it’s no Blink 182, but it’s something different.

At first I didn’t like the album at all…but the more you listen to it the more you love it! The best songs are: Young London, Shove and Epic Holiday! The worst are: The Moon Atomic, Clever Love and Soul Survivor!

Don’t hate on Ava please but don’t get me wrong Blink is 100000000… times better than Ava and will always be!!!! And anyway I just can’t wait for the next blink album! It will be amazing!!!! those 3 guys together make the magic happens lol…

Well obviously moat of you are huge blink fans as am I. But AvA has specific sound and if they completely changed it, it would suck. So If your an AvA fan and liked their first two albums you’ll like this as well. And it’s rumoured that blink will release a new single in March or April! And blink is still here tom is working AvA stuff and Travis with his solo project and mark with producing. So they are still here so just hold on to your nads and be patient! You all were patient for their return so it’s almost here

Great Album. I have nothing against Tom and AvA but instead of givin it for free, he should’ve sold the album even for a very cheap price then give the proceeds to charity like for Haiti or something. Now, that’s LOVE.
