New Album HOPEFULLY in 2010 and Not 2011

You may have read this Article where Tom said they were talking about a 2011 blink-182 album release with Interscope.

Mark tweeted this earlier today:

2011 is too far away. Gonna do all I can to have a blink-182 album in 2010. Year Spaceship!

    I Definitely hope for a 2010 release, but if it takes till 2011 then I hope it turns out that much better. I can wait that long so long as we get Up All Night (whenever they decide to actually release the damn song! >:o) and the other song that will be on Travis solo album.

    I would love to have them record their new record and release within 2010.. but i would also like them to explore the whole writing process and every aspect of recording it to make it the best work they have ever done. Pretty much like tom said “from the last blink album and the side projects, this has made them grow to be better musicians.” i think it should not be rushed because they can do a lot with time. anyone can rush an album, but we want something out of this world, not rushed. we want the the next CD to be the most incredible album to date and stay the best. Blink to me like the beatles, every song is a hit and they stay true to us all.

    to sum of what i said, blink is happier and when they touch sadness there is still a light at the end to get out of it. Saying they are like the beatles is a big statement, but they are bigger to me, the one thing i will always state is that BLINK 182 will always stay true to the fans. The album will be your next wet dream i am sure.
