I saw them in Montreal August 7th for the first time and it was the night of my life...not including the Day my son was born...but i wanted to say thanks to Mark,Tom & Travis for an amazing show and i can not wait to see you again. Everytime I read one of these new interviews and there's a question about new music, or the new album, the answers tend to change everytime. I'm a big fan, and really don't care, but it kinda pisses me off when it goes from "this fall" to "early next year" to "hopefully sometime next year". I'm starting to wonder if we're getting the truth, or if we're getting the politcal answers to not upset their fans. Like I said, Blink is awesome and i'm as excited as anybody for a new album. It just doesn't look like it's a priority with any of them though. Angels and Airwaves and Marks producing career seem to be more important. There has never been a Blink 182 song I haven't liked, but honestly... Angels and airwaves, besides for a few songs on each album, and Mark's remixs' blow ass. Besides for New Found Glory and Sum 41, every other "pop" punk rock band sounds fairy(ish) All time low, boys like girls... wtf. I don't even know if half of those bands are dudes are not. By the way, Vanilla Sky (the band) is kinda cool, but I don't think they have any new music coming out anytime soon. So Mark, your producing is ok, enjoyed the new found glory record... but do what you do and make some awesome music. Tom, Angels and airwaves is never gonna be a big stadium rock band. I would buy any Blink 182 Merch crap I can get my hands on, but after "We don't need to whisper" I will never buy anything angels and airwaves, ever. And that's sayin' something.
