Blink-182 Virtual Music Experience
From Ticketmaster.com:
Here’s an excerpt from the campaign proposal that explains the online event a bit better:
In July Doritos will launch a custom site that utilizes Augmented Reality technology to bring full fledged musical performances and behind-the- scenes exclusive access of Blink 182 and Big Boi right into consumer’s homes. Participants MUST have a ticket to activate the experience. Their ticket comes in the form of the Limited Edition Late Night Doritos bags and provide a virtual VIP experience. Tickets (aka Limited edition bags) go on sale July 6 across the country. A code will be printed on select packages of Late Night Doritos that, when held up to a webcam, will show a 3-D moving image (Jul/Aug time frame) treating the customer to a true late-night experience.

I’m officially the idiot who put in a false address. The rules called the email address the “entrant” so I hope that they will send a code via email…

June 29th, 2009 at 1:46 pm

June 29th, 2009 at 2:23 pm

June 29th, 2009 at 3:21 pm
yeah zach i feel ya… i have a shitty computer with no webcam…its older but im in college and im broke so as long as it’s working..but hey! im going out and buying a 40$ webcam right now… then going to install the webcam software that probably won’t even work on my computer..then waiting till july 6th so i can go out and buy a bag of chips this way i can reveal a secret code.. that when held up to my sick new webcam somehow displays a virtual 3d moving image…WHoa! all so i can sit alone at home and watch 4 or 5 songs by the best band in the world and uhhh? “Big Boi”…guessing by his spelling id say he’s well educated.
or i can just wait till someone just rips it on youtube.
hm…
June 29th, 2009 at 3:22 pm
I’ll just smoke a blunt… eat some Doritos and see my own 3d images
June 29th, 2009 at 3:27 pm

June 29th, 2009 at 9:31 pm
