Yeah, we perfectly see that; Mark and Travis still the same but Tom…I must admit that there’s something new…I watched during all the week the video All The Small Things (the original one and the Jay Leno)…it’s sure they are different.
Actually, I think that Tom tries too hard to sing on this song, which is really basic to play and to sing…and it’s one of thier greatest hit ever…
I think it still too early to judge Tom’s Jay Leno performance…I’m curious to hear him on song like Dumpweed, I’m Sorry, I Miss You, Anthem Part 2, and more…

I totally agree with atticus182, I think Tom tries too hard with his singing, he is a naturally gifted singer, but over the years his live performance has just gotten worse and worse. I think Tom is a good singer, and I reckon he’ll sound good out on tour too.

You know, I don’t really care what he sounds like live and long as they keep putting out records. I don’t care if he has to use auto tune or anal beads or any other masturbatory device to sing as long as they record a new album. They’ve recorded some of the greatest fuckin songs of all time using wherever magic and I’m sure they will again. I’m just happy they are playing again.

I have to agree with the general consensus about Tom’s voice. It’s a little strained sounding… I’m nervous. I know that he can still do it though, I just think that being older has made his voice deeper, and that makes me sad.
On the other hand. I must agree with those people who are like: Stop dissing on Tom. I mean in 04-05 ish everyone suddenly decided to jump on the Tom Hatin’ bandwagon but the truth is that none of us can hate Tom more than Mark… I mean come on, he’s “old school hatin’ Tom, I’ve been hatin’ Tom since like 1995″
But yeah, Tom needs to get some voice therapy I think. All that epic vocalness of AVA might have ruined him.

A lot of stupid people have made fun of Tom and said he sings whiny which actually is what makes him so different and awesome, but because of those losers Tom tries not to sound whiny and that’s what your hearing. Well we all need to tell him that whinyness is badass and what makes him sound like Tom and punk and we love it cause I do.

Everyone needs to shut the hell up about toms singing. He recorded that song ten years ago. Now he’s 33. There’s no way you can hate him for sounding different.
