yeh ive been watchin this the past couple of days on BBC iPlayer – its alright…but i just like seeing blink references in mainstream stuff

and yeh fleeshman is a bit creepy obsessed in it…not in knowing a hell of a lot – just in the “we are 1 person” kinda way…

Wow, what the hell is wrong with so many people here? First you all hate the choir song for some reason…you know it’s meant to be silly? Everyone was acting like they were seriously covering the song.
Now everyone is criticizing this clip because it isn’t accurate or the character is ‘weird’….you know it’s a TV show yeah? The whole point of the show is that this guy is obsessed with Tom, thus he acts the way he acts. It’s not made just for Blink fans, but for the general public.

Sorry to go on, but it’s annoying to see this “I’m too cool” attitude. If you genuinely don’t like the look of the show, that’s fine.

This show rocks!!!! atleast its better than more than half the bullshit crap shows we have here in the u.s. this show may be a lil weird with the obsession but it has depth, and covers lots of different topics.. also the ppl jumpin on callin the guy weird, its a tv show he is acting its the role of his character, he is actually normal and is autistic and sees tom as his hero and envisions himself in that path, tom inspires him and thats how he lets not jus tom but music help him to feel normal by singin n playin his guitar, and be above all those ppl who think they r too cool or better than him becuz they are “normal”

Hate the show or Love the show, it has morals, depth, quality, reality and class to how it is done, and the covers are great, thats the best cover ive heard of WMAA by the choir, no other band could make that song so different yet so bad ass. even mark admits to loving that performance n to look more into the show

You obviously only watch Fox if you think that’s better than most US TV.

This show is actually really good. It’s more than about blink. Tom is just his idol although that clip is sort of weird but believe me, British television is far better than US tv. I am not british either but BBC/channel 4/itv shows are always very good and really feel for the characters in many ways.

This programme is not cool. I watched the first episode, well I tried to, could only manage half. I watched it so that I’d be able to comment fairly.
My comment on this programme is that it is a waste of time and no one should watch it, so they’ll pull it off.

How can people think its cool? The choir versions are alrite… But there s a clip where he sings and plays “all the small things” in a crappy ballad style. That asshole completely destroyed the song.

to be honest if you actually watched the whole show and not just this short clip maybe you’d think its good cause i watch it and its not just about that boy being obbessed with tom ..in my words all the small things is a great show and a great song so dont say anything bad about it unless you’ve watched a whole episode

blink is my favorite band, but that doesn’t mean i have to lie to myself and think that this is a good show. it’s almost as bad as dog semen, which if you’re a good blink fan.. you’d know dog semen is full of calories, and is the #1 cause of bad breath lol

having experience working with autistic children, i think this is a fairly accurate depiction of a mildly autistic person, reminds me of a lot of people!

Blink182+44BoxcarAngels,so true. i feel like the show, while it may not be everyone’s cup of tea, it really does give an insight into aspects of life for autistic people. I know what you mean about the difficulties in school. one child i know definitely will not make it far in education because he simply cannot function independently in society, and does not have the mental ability, yet i know of another person with autism who is in university studying computer sciences, and near top of his class. however, whether he will survive in a work place is a different story. but like you say, i think things like this help to make people more aware and understanding of people with autism.
